What is FPV?

FPV is an acronym for First Person View. FPV is an advanced method of operating a customized high performance drone where the operator uses video display goggles to receive a transmitted live feed from the drone allowing the operator to have a cockpit view of what the drone is seeing.

This method of operating allows for more precision when flying over, under, around, or through obstacles and terrain allowing the capture of shots and views not achievable with traditional GPS Camera Drones.​

The smooth and safe operation of a FPV drone all comes down to operator skill and training. The majority of FPV Drones do not rely on sensors controlling stabilization and positioning during flight, rather direct control input from the operator. In a nut shell, there is no autopilot in FPV a skilled operator does everything. Our operators are licensed by Transport Canada and comply with safe and legal operation procedures of Remote Pilot Aircraft Systems in Canadian airspace. ​
